Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Jacqueline (b. 1995) is a Contemporary Artist currently based in Chicago, IL. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2026 and her BFA from the School of the Art institute of Chicago in 2022.
Jacqueline's work has been featured by several notable galleries across the country such as Woman Made Gallery, Gallery 1922, Old Friends Gallery, Fulton Street Collective, Always Tomorrow Gallery, Dubois Basement Gallery, Janice Charak Gallery, and MIVAL Gallery.
Jacqueline was invited to be a Visiting Artist/Ceramics Instructor at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam Arts and Crafts Center in Honolulu and a Visiting Artist/Presenter at the GVSU Ceramics Forum at Grand Valley State University. She also taught ceramics at 3 Generations Art Studio in Sweetwater, TN and completed a ceramics studio internship at Gnarware Ceramics Studio in Chicago.
While completing her education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jacqueline was awarded the Graduate Dean Professional Development Award twice, and received the Lycille Wert Memorial Scholarship, the Leon W. Guggenheim Scholarship, the Vanpappelndam/Castle Scholarship, the Daniel Van Degrift Scholarship, and the Ellen Lanyon Scholarship. Jacqueline was granted a Student Fellowship at the Jewish Art Salon in New York and participated as an Artist-In-Residence at the Connect International Artist Residency based in Chicago. Prior to her time in Chicago, Jacqueline was also a recipient of the Mercer Island Visual Arts League Scholars Award.
Jacqueline experiences the living water in her material speaking directly to the water in her body, guiding her hand to the shape the material wants to become. Inspired by her upbringing in the pacific northwest, Jacqueline’s practice promotes a harmonious relationship between modern humans and the natural world.
